Shortlisted competition entry for a new clubhouse at Coniston Cricket Club. 

 

The simple mono-pitched roof creates a covered veranda space.  The building is orientated to align with the existing path and dry-stone wall behind.  The main club house room cranks in orientation to face the pitch. The highly insulated timber frame structure is clad in larch weather boarding and painted in black bituminous paint.
