Decent Goodfellow Architects - Grange Road

A ground floor extension to a terrace house in east London.  The brief was to create a garden room/living area.

The pitched roof is naturally lit from above and expressed internally in alignment with the glazing.  A lower ceiling and slot window create a more intimate snug area.  The simple, highly insulated timber structure is clad in larch boarding and painted in black bituminous paint.
